Who am I?
I am a 45 year old husband and father of three little terrors (I mean angels). My career has taken me from being a self-employed personal trainer for 10 years, to employed by McLaren to manage their human performance programme for 12 years, and now back again to being self-employed but this time as a human performance specialist. Like most people I have a lot of different responsibilities to juggle in my day whilst also making time for my own health and fitness.
I have a Sports Science degree from Loughborough University, a post graduate diploma in Applied Sport & Exercise Physiology from St. Marys, and numerous fitness and lifestyle diplomas from Premier Training and the C.H.E.K Institute. This has given me a well rounded view of the human mind and body and how best to work with them both to achieve lasting change.
I truly believe that anything is possible in life. I believe that we can all change our health, wellness, and performance. And I believe I can assist you if you are looking for some help.

My working life started as a physical training specialist after leaving university. I specialised in postural assessments and corrective exercise prescription, as well as nutrition and lifestyle coaching. It fascinated me how two people with relatively similar goals and resources could have such varying results. At the time I put it down to motivation, but now I understand there is a much more complicated process to achieving change.
After 10 years being self employed I moved to work at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. This provided a unique insight into the world of Formula One motor racing and an opportunity to work with the Race Team (engineers and pit crew) and drivers from karting to F1. In 2010 I was Performance Coach to Lewis Hamilton, responsible for his mental and physical preparations prior to and across each race weekend.
Now I'm bringing all this knowledge and experience to The Everyday Life Coach with the aim of making the tools of change (physical and psychological) accessible to everyone who is searching for them.
